Tuscola’s Cargill sites will soon be under a new name, according to company representatives.
Cargill has informed employees at its Tuscola grain elevator that it has entered into an agreement with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in which it will transfer ownership of the local facility to ADM, and Cargill will take ownership of ADM’s facility in Chillicothe, Ohio, according to media relations personnel from both companies.
The agreement is dependent upon satisfactory completion of due diligence, the representatives say.
“We anticipate that ADM will consider our current nine full-time production employees at Tuscola for employment with ADM,” said Antonella Bellman, communication leader for Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America.
